Join Opera Fort Collins Artistic Director, Brian Clay Luedloff,  and Music Director/Symphony Conductor, Wes Kenney, as they co-host to bring our listeners Opra Ora with different singers each month. Performing LIVE this month in the KRFC Live@Lunch studio are Lindsay Espinosa and Emily Morris with Dr. Gerald Holbrook accompanying them on piano.

Lindsay Espinosa

Lindsay Espinosa (soprano) is a second year Masters student at Colorado State University pursuing a degree in vocal performance. Ms. Espinosa holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace University. Previous roles and performances include: La Fée in Cendrillon and Gabriel Part II, The Creation at CSU; Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Gontran in Une Éducation Manquée, and Musetta in La Bohème at Baldwin-Wallace University. This fall, she will perform the role of Nella in the CSU production of Gianni Schicchi.

 

Emily MorrisEmily Morris (soprano) is a first year Masters student at Colorado State University. While pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Colorado State, she won the Singer of the Year Competition in 2013. Previous roles include: Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Mrs. Grose in The Turn of the Screw, and the title role in Massenet’s Cendrillon at CSU. She will perform the role of Lauretta in Colorado State University’s Gianni Schicchi this fall. Ms. Morris is a student of Dr. Tiffany Blake.
