Spring Membership Drive April 29th-May 7th!

The Pre- Drive letters are out! Spring is a great time for our existing members to take a moment and re-new with a spring contribution.  This year we have a great new  T- Shirt design as a premium.  You, the listener – member, is the foundation of KRFC – Community Radio and we are thankful for your continued support!

KRFC is proud to announce the hiring of two new staff members!

Brian Hughes has accepted the Executive Director position that is replacing the Interim General Manager position.   Brian was the former Volunteer Coordinator at KRFC  from 2003 – 2007, and his passion for community radio has grown.   Brian has acquired some great skills that will be valuable to the future of KRFC.

All of us at KRFC would like to extend a great deal of gratitude to Dennis for all of the time, knowledge, and support he has given to KRFC since he became a staff member in fall 2006.  He will continue to be a volunteer programmer at KRFC with his program on Sunday evenings at 5pm, Composer’s Sketchbook, and help with the Live @ Lunch show as a volunteer sound tech.

KRFC would also like to welcome John Hayes as our Program Director.   The position is new to KRFC and having a veteran radio personality with extensive knowledge and experience in the field is exciting for the station.   John has worked for KTCL and has been a volunteer programmer on Wednesday’s at 10am with WTF Wednesday’s.

With the two new hires, KRFC is looking forward to use their talents and energy to continue to grow and organize your community radio station, KRFC 88.9fm.
