The Long Run

Mark Trippensee: Vocals, Drums/Percussion
Mark has been establishing his drumming/singing/songwriting skills on the front range for over 20 years, recording 2 CD’s with the Denver melodic hard rock act ‘Hearsay’ in the 1990’s and several compilation CD’s from top Colorado radio stations and studios. Mark expanded the stages he played on with the Denver-based rock act ‘Drug Under’ in 2005, Sponsored by Jagermeister and Dean Guitars, they toured to several states performing on the same bill with such acts as Staind, Three Days Grace, Winger, Hurt, Tesla, Cinderella, Ratt, Kings X, Blackberry Smoke, and Y&T. Drug Under continues to play the Denver area to present day. Mark played such venues and stages as SXSW Festival in Austin, TX, The Viper Room in Hollywood, CA, Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, SD, and The World Arena in Co. Springs, CO. Also a member of the working classic rock band, ‘Last Men On Earth’, Influences include Paul Rodgers, Neil Peart, Don Henley, Bruce Hornsby, and Edwin McCain.

Adam Rey; Electric guitar, vocals;
Adam Rey is an accomplished and stylistically diverse guitarist that has been performing and touring for 35 years in the western US. Since 1991, he has been an in demand live and session musician playing lead guitar with many bands/artists in the Colorado Rocky Mountain Region. He released his first solo CD in 2011 “Meat & Potatoes”. It is an eclectic combination of original guitar driven instrumental Rock/Jazz/Fusion/Blues/World music with a little ‘Country’ thrown in the mix

Doug Krause: Piano/Keys, Pedal Steel, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals
Doug Krause has been a professional musician and composer for over twenty years. His characteristic writing and performing style comes from years spent moving between the pop/rock, blues, and country genres as well as classical music. A small town boy from the plains of Kansas, he had a natural affinity for the music of the heartland but quickly discovered that the blues and southern rock suited his piano and singing style perfectly. His influences include Little Feat, Bruce Hornsby, The Band, Dr. John, and of course, the Eagles. Besides being a professional performer, Doug has also been a producer, studio musician, composer, songwriter, and teacher. He considers himself a journeyman musician being proficient in all styles of popular music, and he has a masters degree in music composition and orchestration. Doug makes his home in Denver where he performs and teaches at the University of Colorado Denver in the Music and Entertainment Industry Studies program. Colorado is the perfect place for him to pursue a career, raise a family, and be close to the wide-open spaces he loves.

The Allman Brothers Band have a unique blend of southern rock, blues, and jazz that have inspired musicians and fans for decades. Their music and performances have created memories for everyone that have stood the test of time. It is in that spirit that we honor their music.
